Wreaths Across America 2023
Greetings Fellow GLMCS Members, Family and Friends,
Please consider honoring our Nation's Veterans and supporting the Glenn L. Martin Composite Squadron by sponsoring a wreath or wreaths for the 2023 Wreaths Across America Day.
Wreaths Across America ("WAA") coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies every December to "Remember, Honor, and Teach" about the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families. Please check out this page to learn how you can help by sponsoring Veterans Remembrance Wreaths or by joining us on December 16, 2023 at a participating location near you. #WreathsAcrossAmerica
For 11 years now, the Glenn L. Martin Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol has joined with members nationwide to show appreciation to our nation's veterans by adorning memorials and veteran's graves with evergreen wreaths. We would like to offer you the opportunity to honor our country's heroes by sponsoring a wreath or wreaths, as an individual and encourage you to ask your family, friends and a business to sponsor as well (please forward this email or send our link). Your sponsorship will benefit WAA’s mission to remember the fallen, to honor those who serve and to teach our children the value of freedom. Your sponsorship will also benefit Glenn L. Martin Composite Squadron. By recruiting sponsors our squadron will receive $5 back per wreath sponsored to support our fundraising efforts to provide scholarships, leadership training and other squadron needs. If you are interested, use the link above to sponsor a wreath or wreaths or print the attached sponsorship form and mail it with your payment to WAA. Both Wreaths Across America and Civil Air Patrol are 501(c)3 organizations and donations are tax deductible.
We would also like to invite you, your family and friends to join us on Saturday, December 16th as we host a 2023 Wreaths Across America Ceremony at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, 10201 Bird River Road. Baltimore, MD 21220 at 12:00 noon. It is recommended to arrive by 11:30 am. This ceremony will be one of more than 3,700 ceremonies that will be held simultaneously nationwide and abroad, including Arlington National Cemetery to honor those who have served the United States of America.
For more information regarding wreath laying, the ceremony, sponsorship or participation, please contact Brooks Morales or Nadine Hartman email@example.com at 443-844-4929.
